Born Enetimi Alfred Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He gained international prominence through his third studio album De Rebirth—released in partnership with Black Body Entertainment—and its lead single “Plantain Boy” To date, his work has earned him four Headies Awards, an accolade established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievement in the Nigerian music industry. and one Nigeria Music Award.
