Passionate plea by Lisette Mibo – Passion For Motherland

There are a lot of good causes in the world. That said, you’re unlikely to have more fun with a small donation than you are with Passion For Motherland on Friday 21st August at 6pm in Hackney Town Hall. Africa Fashion caught up with founder Lisette Mibo at Kensington Olympia to find out which charities will be supported with the £10 entrance fee.

Alongside the hugely colourful catwalk show, Passion For Motherland will also be delivering music and poetry at one of London’s most famous old venues, Hackney Town Hall. Lisette Mibo took time from AFWL to speak with us about the event and the support it helps give the Panzi Foundation in Congo.

On the catwalk will be a host of beautiful African models from Black Afro Queens. Doors open at 6pm and the event will finish around 10pm – and tickets are selling out fast over on Eventbrite!

If you’re a fashion lover that’s looking for a cool way to spend Friday night, then Passion For Motherland is the place to be.
