Vanessa Agyemang presents Copper Dust

As an award winning model and materials expert, designing a range of luxury goods for the home came naturally to Vanessa Agyemang. With the backing of the Princes Trust, she has her brand Copper Dust well and truly up and running. In an exclusive interview, Africa Fashion finds out about her inspiration, plans and message for African designers in the future.

We first met Vanessa with a 14Kg python around her neck in a studio in South London three years ago.

Since then, she has moved from being the winner of Top Model of Colour into an independent business woman with a clear vision, running Copper Dust.

Features in Elle Decoration and House & Garden have spiked interest in her venture.

Vanessa took time out of her preparations for Africa Fashion Week London to speak with us in the Africa Fashion studio.
